The pace of economic growth in Canada has slowed, but there's still some progress. StatsCan says the economy grew by 0.1 per cent in August, after increases of 0.4 per cent in June and 0.3 per cent in July. Scotiabank economist Derek Holt says the June and July figures were just too strong to keep going. (Holt says the August rate of 0.1 per cent was in line with expectations.)
