The premiers of Manitoba and Saskatchewan talked by telephone today about a growing trade dispute. Manitoba's Greg Selinger says he and Brad Wall agree that a key priority is a renewed national trade deal scheduled for next spring. (Manitoba companies have started facing barriers to doing business in the other western provinces recently, because Manitoba did not join a regional trade deal in 2010 called the New West Partnership. Wall says the invitation to Manitoba is still open, but Selinger has refused.)
