Canada's new new International Trade Minister is signalling that the Liberal government of Justin Trudeau is open to international trade deals -- but won't commit to the Trans Pacific Partnership pact negotiated under the previous Conservative government. The text of the massive trade deal of Pacific Rim countries was made public today in New Zealand for the first time and Chrystia Freeland says she's only begun to study the six-thousand page document. (Freeland says Canadians will get a chance to have their say on the trade deal by submitting online comments and says parliament will be debating the agreement in the weeks to come.)
