Brandon Bridge is set to become the first Canadian to start at quarterback in a CFL game in 19 years. The Mississauga, Ontario product was tabbed by the Montreal Alouettes to start against the Saskatchewan Roughriders in the season finale for both teams. Bridge says he wants to show he can be a regular starter in the league.
