With U.S. President Barack Obama rejecting the Keystone XL pipeline, the tiny town that was to be its starting point is taking stock of the move. Residents of Hardisty, Alberta, weren't pleased with the news - but they weren't surprised by it either. Don Gray has lived in the town, 200 kilometres southeast of Edmonton, for decades. He says it's even more important that the Energy East pipeline to New Brunswick go ahead. (Hardisty would also be the starting point for Energy East.)
