Nova Scotia Premier Stephen McNeil has accepted the resignation of his chief of staff after he disclosed the personal health information of former cabinet minister Andrew Younger. McNeil says the release of the information on Monday by Kirby McVicar was unacceptable. (McVicar's resignation came after he told reporters that Younger was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder and that he also had a brain tumour. Younger responded yesterday by filing a privacy complainant against McVicar.)
