Manitoba is preparing to welcome up to two-thousand Syrian refugees in the next three months. The provincial government unveiled its plan for dealing with the influx today. Ben Rempel (REHM'-pull), with Manitoba immigration, says a website and toll-free line will be up next week, asking people to help out. (The province is also talking with landlords about renting vacant rental units. The government says it is using its emergency co-ordination centre -- normally used to fight spring floods -- to plan and deliver services for the refugees.)
