The Liberals in Newfoundland and Labrador have won a majority of the seats in the provincial election, ending 12 years of Progressive Conservative rule. NDP Leader Earle McCurdy failed to win a seat in the legislature, going down to defeat in St. John's West. McCurdy says he hasn't decided what his next steps will be. (The NDP won just two seats, the Tories took seven, and the Liberals won 31.)
