Calgary Mayor Naheed (NAH'-hed) Nenshi says he's confident his city can handle the 13-hundred Syrian refugees who are expected to arrive. He says welcoming people is in Calgary's DNA and the city already regularly accepts one thousand refugees a year from all over the world. Nenshi says there are more than enough housing units but the challenge is making sure they're affordable. (Two Calgary real estate firms -- Mainstreet Equity and Boardwalk REIT -- are pitching in with free or discounted rental units.)
