Calgary is preparing to welcome up to 13-hundred Syrian refugees in the coming months, even as it struggles with a tough economy. About 500 of those are coming through private sponsorships -- one of the highest numbers of any Canadian city. Calgary mayor Naheed (nah-HED') Nenshi says the feedback he's heard on the city's refugee response has been overwhelmingly positive. (Nenshi says a raft of services and resources are available to Calgarians who are facing economic hardship.)
