A drop-off centre is being opened in Halifax to accept donations for Syrian refugees who come to Nova Scotia. The province has offered to settle up to 15-hundred refugees but doesn't yet know when they will arrive. Immigration Minister Lena Metlege Diab says the donation centre will be open three days a week and was donated by a family of Syrian immigrants. (Diab says the province's toll-free 2-1-1 line has received more than 21-hundred voicemails from Nova Scotians offering assistance.)
