Manitoba's children's advocate is expressing concern over a growing trend in youth suicides. Darlene MacDonald told a legislature committee today more suicides by young people are being carried by hanging as opposed to drug overdoses and other methods. (Some of the children were involved in the child welfare system, and MacDonald says one concern is that children may feel despondent if they are frequently moved between foster homes.)
