Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says he's looking forward to speaking with Pope Francis about a recommendation in the Truth and Reconciliation Report. One of the report's recommendations is that the pope to apologize for past abuses by priests in residential schools. But Trudeau says he doesn't have the power to compel an apology. (About 60 per cent of Canada's residential schools were run by the Catholic Church between the 1840s and 1996.)
