A Montreal teen has been found guilty of two terrorism-related charges by a Quebec youth court. The 16-year-old was found guilty of committing a robbery in association with a terrorist organization and planning to leave Canada to participate in the activities of a terrorist group abroad. Federal prosecutor Marie-Eve Moore says the teen is the first person in Canada to be convicted of attempting to go abroad. (The case stems from a convenience store robbery in October 2014 the Crown suggested was linked to the Islamic State and was committed to finance a trip to take part in the conflict in Syria.)
