Protesters disrupted Enbridge's Line 9 pipeline earlier today. The company says it shut off the line remotely as a safety precaution after three activists locked themselves to a valve site east of Sarnia, Ontario. Lindsay Gray is speaking on behalf of the trio, who were taken into police custody. She says it was easy to get access to the fenced-in valve site. (The protesters say First Nations along the route were not properly consulted about the recently-completed pipeline project, which enables Alberta crude to flow to Montreal.)
