Western Canadian ski resorts are breathing a sigh of relief year as heavy snow falls continue on the slopes after a couple tough years. Lindsay Gallagher at Sunshine Village resort says the resort has seen increased attendance thanks to the low Canadian dollar and families staying closer to home in the downturn. (The conditions are in stark contrast to Eastern Canada where most slopes are bare after unseasonably warm temperatures.)
