A judge says the death of a senior hours after she was sent home from a Winnipeg hospital in a cab was not preventable. But Judge Margaret Wiebe says in an inquest report that Heather Bre's (BREH'-'s) death was still a tragedy, and makes 25 recommendations for health-care improvements. Dana Bre says she felt officials shut her out from the beginning and the inquest answered a lot of questions about her mother's medical care. (Sixty-eight-year-old Heather Brenan spent four days in the overcrowded emergency department at Seven Oaks hospital before she was discharged in January of 2012. She collapsed on her doorstep, was rushed back to hospital and died of a blood clot in her lung.)
