A judge says the death of a senior hours after she was sent home from a Winnipeg hospital in a cab was not preventable. But Judge Margaret Wiebe says in an inquest report that Heather Bre's (BREH'-'s) death was still a tragedy, and makes 25 recommendations for health-care improvements. Dana Bre says she felt officials shut her out from the beginning and the inquest answered a lot of questions about her mother's medical care.
