The Calgary Flames ended the year with a loss. Milan Lucic (loo-CHEECH') and Andy Andreoff scored 78 seconds apart in the second period and the L-A Kings held on for a 4-1 win over Calgary. Marion Gaborik (MEHR'-ee-uhn GAB'-ohr-ihk) opened the scoring for the Kings in the first period and Tanner Pearson added an empty netter. Flames center Joe Colborne says the Kings are the best team in the league and they showed Calgary why.
