A Toronto police officer has been found guilty of attempted murder in the shooting death of a teen on an empty streetcar. Constable James Forcillo was cleared of the more serious charge of second-degree murder in the death of 18-year-old Sammy Yatim in July of 2013. Yatim family lawyer Julian Falconer says the verdict sends a message to police. (Hundreds of people took to the streets of Toronto to protest what they called police brutality -- prompting the city's police chief to launch a review of officers' use of force and their response to emotionally disturbed people.)
