Saskatchewan Health Minister Dustin Duncan says there are no imminent plans to change provincial smoking laws to cover electronic cigarettes. A resolution passed at the Saskatchewan Urban Municipalities Association convention says "vaping" should be included in provincial legislation that bans smoking in public places. Regina Mayor Michael Fougere (foo-ZHAIR'), says making the change would avoid a patchwork of rules across Saskatchewan and he disagrees with Duncan's stance. (Duncan says the issue should be approached with caution because vaping could possibly be used to help people stop smoking tobacco.)
