Newfoundland and Labrador's Transportation Department is investigating after a dump truck slipped between a ferry and the wharf at Change Islands where it quickly sank. Dean Snow says he scrambled out the driver's side window onto the hood and jumped to the wharf as a single, loose rope allowed the vessel to pull away. (Transportation Minister Al Hawkins says all vessels are to review docking procedures. The ferry M-V Captain Earl W. Winsor is now out of service for repairs to its ramp.)
