Officials are investigating a generator fire on board HMCS Ville de Quebec that sent three engineers to hospital as a precaution. Captain Cameron Hillier says the fire was detected at about three o'clock yesterday afternoon during a system test. (The three were released. Hillier says the fire was inside the generator's enclosure. The ship had just completed its Halifax-class modernization program in December and was undergoing refresher crew training and equipment tests.)
