A provincial election campaign is set to start in Manitoba. Election day is already set for April 19th, and a source in the NDP government says Premier Greg Selinger will launch the campaign today. Opposition Leader Brian Pallister says his Progressive Conservatives have all their candidates in place, and are ready to go. (Polls suggest the NDP government trails far behind the opposition, after raising the provincial sales tax in 2013.
