RCMP say a man in central Alberta was killed while trying to stop some people from stealing his truck. Dawson Wegner Cramer was found injured early Wednesday in an alley behind his Red Deer home. The 23-year-old died in hospital. Corporal Hal Turnbull says an autopsy is taking place today to determine the exact cause of death. (The truck was later found about three kilometres away, where witnesses spotted two suspects running into a wooded area. Turnbull says investigators are trying to determine whether it was a random crime.)
