A grey seal pup that was hit by a vehicle on a Nova Scotia road has died while being treated for serious injuries at a wildlife rehabilitation centre. Hope Swinimer of Hope for Wildlife says the little seal died of an infection nearly three weeks after it was brought to the facility outside Halifax. Swinimer says the seal was in rough shape on arrival. (The seal was found by an RCMP officer on a road in Pictou County on February 10th.)
