Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall says at first glance, the new federal budget is disappointing. The federal government is expanding employment insurance in a move to help workers in Newfoundland and Labrador, Alberta and Saskatchewan. But Wall says the extension will help northern Saskatchewan and not the south. (Wall also says he was hoping to see some special recognition for Alberta, Saskatchewan and Newfoundland and Labrador, which have been hit hard by the downturn in oil prices. But the premier says that doesn't appear to be among the spending promises in the 269-page document.)
