A deformed kitten found in rural Langley, B-C, will be fitted with prosthetic blades in a groundbreaking procedure. Veterinarians at a Vancouver animal hospital have treated the kitten's back-limb muscles to relax them for the best fitting. Neurologist Mike Higgins says the procedure has never been performed before. (The feral kitten named Cassidy was found at about nine-weeks old starving and dragging itself around using just its front legs.)

Transcript Prediction: << definitely this is cutting-edge technology there is a surgeon that's already been working extensively with Cassidy that is making a 3D printed model for these Prosthetics and again this is something that it's not widely available but the more and more options that we develop for animals than its potential for further use is out there >>
