A former UBC student has filed a human rights complainant alleging the university discriminated against her and other complaits in its response to multiple sexual assault and harassment allegations against a PhD candidate. Glynnis Kirchmeier (KIRK'-my'-er) alleges that the school's delayed response to complaints over a period of years put students at risk of sexual violence. (UBC says it does not tolerate sexual assault and has already begun work on a new sexual assault policy with a draft ready in June and final approval expected in early fall.)
