A woman accused of concealing the remains of six infants in a Winnipeg storage locker is set to go on trial today. Andrea Giesbrecht was arrested in October 2014 shortly after the bodies were discovered but has been on bail for a year. Her lawyer, Greg Brodsky, says the trial will likely hinge on whether the babies were born alive. (Despite numerous pre-trial hearings, neither the ages of the infants nor the reason they were kept in a storage locker has ever been revealed.)
