Two firefighters are in hospital after being hurt while fighting a brush fire northeast of Edmonton. The men were hurt in two separate areas of a brush fire in Lamont County. County communications co-ordinator Heather Atkinson says the firefighters are in stable condition in hospitals in Lamont and Edmonton hospital. She says firefighters are working hard to contain the fire. (Grass and brush fires are also forcing people from their homes in some communities west of Edmonton. Parkland County has issued a mandatory evacuation alert for people who live in and around the hamlet of Duffield, while residents of Clear Lake have been told to be ready to leave on short notice.)
