Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says climate change is a challenge that must be met but it also presents an opportunity the world must grasp. At the United Nations this morning, Trudeau told other leaders that his government is working to create a consensus among provincial, indigenous and municipal leaders to draft a plan that will help Canada meet or exceed our emissions target and encourage clean economic growth. (Trudeau is in New York to sign the Paris climate-change accord. The agreement kicks in once it's signed by 55 countries accounting for 55 per cent of global emissions.)
