B-C's Public Safety Minister Mike Morris says harassment policies were always strictly followed during the 32-years he served with the RCMP. Morris says he can't comment on the details of an out-of-court settlement with former Mountie Catherine Galliford, but he says he rarely saw any evidence of harassment during his time with the force, which included his appointment as superintendent of B-C's North District. Morris offered this comment when asked if 400 women seeking to certify a class action lawsuit against the RCMP amounts to a significant indication of alleged harassment. (Morris retired from the RCMP in 2005.)
