A cruise ship carrying hundreds of people affected by a contagious virus arrived in Halifax this morning. The Balmoral pulled into pot this morning for a short visit after being in New Brunswick. Lane Farguson, spokesman with the Halifax Port Authority, says it's not that uncommon for the city to host ships hit by outbreaks. (The Centers For Disease Control and Prevention in the States said Monday that 277 of 915 passengers on the Balmoral had reported being ill. But most have recovered.)
