Crews continue to snuff out flareups and build fire guards in Fort McMurray as inspectors move in to assess damage to homes and and infrastructure such as the hospital. Chad Morrison, Alberta's wildfire boss, says the recent cool temperatures are helping the wildfire situation but the forecast calls for hot, dry weather next week. (Alberta Municipal Affairs Minister Danielle Larivee says in the city of Fort McMurray the focus is shifting to stabilizing the community but there is no word yet on when evacuees can go home.)
