The Saskatchewan government is looking at changing how health care and education are run in a bid to improve service and save money. Premier Brad Wall says he'll also urge urban and rural municipalities to look at their numbers, but he won't force change. Carmen Sterling, vice-president of the Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities, says there have been amalgamations over the years, but such decisions should be made locally. (The premier says the government wants to spend the next year talking with stakeholders and to not expect specific changes in the June 1st budget.)
