The New Brunswick government is taking another step towards ensuring equal pay for men and women in the public sector. finance Minister Cathy Rogers says the government has approved the implementation of pay equity adjustments for more than three-thousand workers in the education sector. (Vallie Stearns Anderson of the New Brunswick Coalition for Pay Equity says it's a big day for women and all workers in New Brunswick. The workers will get a retroactive pay adjustment for the last four years, while the rest of the increase will be phased-in over the next six years.)
