The Mounties say an early-morning tip from the FBI triggered a "race against time" to identify and locate a would-be suicide bomber they feared was on the verge of killing innocent Canadians. RCMP deputy commissioner Mike Cabana says all they got initially was a screen shot from a video, and then the video itself, of a man issuing vague threats against Canada, and Canadians. Cabana says investigators poured through reams of data until they felt they had found their man. (Several hours later, as the afternoon rush hour was ramping up, police confronted the suspect, Aaron Driver, as he left his house and jumped into the back seat of a waiting taxi, where an explosive device suddenly detonated, injuring the cabbie. Police say Driver himself was killed in the fracas, either by the explosion or police gunfire.)
