About two-thirds of the remaining evacuees from the Fort McMurray wildfire will soon be allowed to return. But Karen Grimsrud (GRIMS'-rood), Alberta's Chief Medical Officer of Health, says about 242 homes have yet to be cleaned up because of the volume of ash and debris left behind. (The returning evacuees will be able to get to their homes on August 31st.)
