Kennedy, who helped open a child advocacy centre for victims of sexual abuse, urged his audience to reduce the stress victims go through and not make them relive their abuse over and over. (Kennedy says the Calgary centre brings together police, social workers, medical staff, psychologists and prosecutors under one roof to try to avoid making child victims relive their abuse.)
