An oilfield services lobby group says it's still pressing Ottawa to help get Albertans back to work cleaning up dormant oil and gas wells. But the Petroleum Services Association of Canada has tweaked its pitch. Mark Salkeld, who heads up the group, says if the government won't give the industry money for well decommissioning, a loan would work just as well. (Salkeld says he's discussed the rejigged proposal with federal Natural Resources Minister Jim Carr.)
