Two pythons are currently on the lam in Quebec and their survival is a race against Mother Nature as temperatures begin to dip in the coming weeks. One python is missing from a town north of Montreal while another went missing from in southwestern Montreal nearly a month ago. Bry Loyst, curator of the Indian River Reptile Zoo in Ontario, says first frost would mean the deaths of both snakes. (The pythons, known as royal or ball pythons, are typically kept as pets and not considered dangerous.)
