Nova Scotia's education minister says a conciliator has filed a report in the contract dispute with the province's teachers. Government officials say that means beginning tomorrow the union will have to wait 44 days before it can give a 48-hour strike notice. Karen Casey says she has also written to union president Liette Doucet asking for further discussions on classroom working conditions. (The Nova Scotia Teachers Union has scheduled a strike vote for October 25th.)
