A decades-old lobster fishing tradition in southwestern Nova Scotia has been postponed thanks to blustery forecasts. "Dumping Day" was supposed to kick off the fall lobster season today, but is being put off for at least a day. Longtime lobsterman Ashton Spinney says sailors in Lobster Fishing Areas 33 and 34 have become extra cautious in recent years. (The body of water stretching from the Halifax area to Digby is widely considered to be one of Canada's most lucrative lobster regions.)
