More details are emerging about the death of a man who was being held at the Winnipeg Remand Centre. Manitoba's acting chief medical examiner has called an inquest into the death of 26-year-old Errol Greene, who died May 1st after suffering epileptic seizures. An autopsy shows there were low levels of anti-convulsion medication in Greene's system. John Hutton, with the John Howard Society, says many inmates have had trouble accessing medication. (The inquest will examine what happened and what might be done to prevent such deaths in the future. Greene's death was one of five this year at the remand centre, and there are calls for a broader examination into the facility.)
