A farming family that has been at the forefront of protests against the Site C hydroelectric dam project in British Columbia's northeast is being expropriated from their home. B-C Hydro president Jessica McDonald says Ken and Arlene Boon must be out of their home at the end of May, but can still farm their land for another two years. (McDonald says a highway realignment project due to start in January to make way for the dam means eight properties in the area, including the Boons' home, must be vacated.)
