The wildfire that forced nearly 90-thousand people to flee Fort McMurray in May has been voted the top news story of 2016 by senior editors across the country. The disaster got 39 of the 67 votes cast in the annual survey. Erin O'Neill is the operations manager for the city's recovery task force. She says the rebuilding process is going well. (O'Neill says 160 homes have begun construction and she expects activity will really pick up in the spring.)
