Canada's health minister says Canada cannot simply decide to live with COVID-19 and remove public health measures entirely while so many people are still dying of the virus. Jean-Yves Duclos says hospitals are also still vulnerable to a potentially overwhelming influx of seriously ill people. (Chief public health officer Dr. Theresa Tam noted there are 130 people dying of COVID-19 daily and about 87-hundred being treated for the virus in hospital.)
