Police identified a four-year-old boy who was abandoned at a Calgary supermarket as a resident of Washington state. His name was Avery McCarty -- not Abraham as indicated in a note left with him. Calgary Police Staff Sergeant Bob Wiltshire said he thought the mother was trying to throw authorities off with the phoney name. She later met with police in Victoria.
