On Nov. 20, Correctional Services Canada confirmed Canadians Christine Lamont and David Spencer were being returned to Canada. Lamont, of Langley, BC and Spencer, of Moncton, New Brunswick, were serving 28-year sentences for their roles in kidnapping a Brazilian businessman.
