Brad Gushue's (GOO'-shooz) rink captured the gold last March at the World Junior Curling Championships in Ogden, Utah. The St. John's, Newfoundland rink scored a 7-6 victory over Denmark in 10 ends. Canadian coach Jeff Thomas said Gushue was confident with his game-winning hit-and-stick shot.
